The Indians look like they’re headed for a rough season. With a three headed monster in the division of the Tigers, White Sox and Twins, it looks like the Indians might be fighting the Royals for the bottom again. With that, the Indians have unloaded a lot of their talent the past few years but now just this past week, general manager Chris Antonetti has said that the team won’t trade Grady Sizemore of Fausto Carmona.
I don’t necessarily believe them but the Indians finished close to the bottom in attendance and they need to do something to turn that around. Trading the last two cogs of their 2007 run won’t endear the team to the fans so they might be best off eating whatever they’re paying these guys. Plus Sizemore has always been a fan favorite so losing him might cause even more of an uproar.
