After getting trampled by the Tigers in yesterday’s 13-2 loss, the Indians went back to Cleveland and put a beating on Detroit winning 11-1. The Indians had four players with multiple hit games and six different players with RBIs. The bats were not the only thing that were hot, the starter Fausta Carmona gave a solid effort giving up seven hits and one earned run in 6 2/3 innings. With the combined efforts of the offense and pitching the Indians were able to snap a three game losing streak and get some momentum before heading to Minnesota for a three game series with the Twins.
