Indians 4, Tigers 1  (3-0)

It’s hard to follow up a two hit shutout like Bob Feller did on opening day but he almost did it with a three hitter against the Tigers on the road.  He did give up a run on those three hits and a walk and he struck out a six Tigers.

Joe Gordon was the hitting star in the win. He went three for four with three RBIs and a stolen base.  Larry Doby also got it done with a single, a triple and two runs.
