C.C. Sabathia Is Hit Hard In Indians Game One Loss

by @ 5:25 am. Filed under 2007 Indians

C.C. Sabathia took it on the chin last night as the Red Sox ran up the score on him and the Indians in a game one ALCS loss.  Travis Hafner got things off to a nice start with a solo shot in the top of the first but it was tied by the bottom of the first and it was 10-2 by the bottom of the sixth in an ugly game.  Eight of those runs came off of C.C. Sabathia and then the last two came off of Jensen Lewis.

Asdrubal Cabrera finished the game with a single and two RBIs in the loss.  Casey Blake doubled twice and he scored two runs in a nice game.

Game two is tonight and hopefully Fausto Carmona can right the ship.  It’ll be Curt Schilling on the mound for the Red Sox.
