Without a doubt, the three strongest teams in the American League Central Division were the Chicago Whitesox, the Detroit Tigers and the Cleveland Indians, however after the opening week we find only one of those teams in the top two. The Indians have a half game lead over the Twins and a pretty good cushion over the Tigers who have yet to win a game. The Indians have not come out of the gate with a lot of steam, but they find themselves just two wins out of first place.
