The Cleveland Indians lost to Boston tonight by the score of 6-4. The Indians appeared to be on the way to their sixth win of the season, but a blown save cost them the game. The Indians found themselves leading by one run going into the ninth. Jake Westbrook gave a solid six and a third innings allow just two runs, one earned. Rafael Betancourt came on in relief and gave up a solo home run, but the Indians held onto a one run lead. Joe Borawski came in the ninth to close, but gave up four hits and three runs to blow the save. Rafael Perez came in to get the final out, but the offense could not manufacture in the bottom of the ninth. The Indians play again tomorrow and have an opportunity to split the two game series.
