In 2004, Keith Foulke was on top of the world. He was closing games for a World Series winner and then the injuries came. Since then, he’s pitched pretty poorly. The Indians are hoping his arm troubles are behind him and he can bounce back because they’re close to a deal with the relief pitcher. Foulke would have a shot to close and you’d think any deal would have at least a few incentive driven stipulations. As always, we’ll see but the Indians have said a deal is very close.
