Indians Out Hit White Sox for Second Straight Win

by @ 4:57 pm. Filed under 2007 Indians

So far, so good as the Indians blew a couple of leads and then came back themselves to win it over the White Sox.  Victor Martinez was four for four with two walks, a double and two RBIs while Andy Marte and Grady Sizemore each went yard.  Even Travis Hafner got things done despite getting just one hit because he walked four times.

Jake Westbrook gave up seven runs in five innings but the new and improved bullpen actually looked improved.   Five Indian relievers combined for four innings of one hit ball.  Aaron Fultz picked up the win while Joe Borowski picked up the save.

Tomorrow is get away day and Jeremy Sowers will try to pitch the Indians to a sweep over the White Sox.  Mark Buehrle will be on the mound for the White Sox.
