The Indians were able to defeat the Minnesota Twins in the first of a three game series. The Indians were able to score four runs but thanks to the stellar pitching of Cliff Lee (3-0) they only needed one to win. Lee pitched eight innings and surrendered two hits to the Twin lineup. The Indians have an opportunity to make it three straight in game two. The pitching match-up places Jake Westbrook against Nick Blackburn.
